Metropolitan Museum of Art Announces Fifth Avenue Renovation Plans

The committee, named to honor the state’s 100 counties, supports and promotes the museum as it prepares for its grand opening in April 2010. - The museum, located at 2110 Blue Ridge Road, officially broke ground in December 2006, and will open its new building in April 2010. The 164-acre campus is expected to become the nation’s largest art museum park.
