Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) Presents 17th Biennale of Sydney

Sydney, Australia – The Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) is delighted to unveil the artists and projects showing at the MCA as part of the 17th Biennale of Sydney, Australia’s largest and most respected contemporary arts event, running from 12 May until 1 August 2010.

THE BEAUTY OF DISTANCE: Songs of Survival in a Precarious Age, the 17th Biennale of Sydney is selected by internationally esteemed curator David Elliott and presented in venues and sites around Sydney Harbour. This year, the MCA is devoting all four floors of exhibition space to the Biennale of Sydney, presenting 286 works by 93 artists from over 20 countries to showcase the best in international and Australian contemporary art. The exhibition program is free for visitors throughout the Biennale.
