June 1, 2010 – 10:16 amNo Comment

The Dallas Fort Worth area has just released an attractions pass that allows both visitors and locals a great way to enjoy some of the region’s best attractions at savings of up to 30%. The new Dallas/Fort Worth & Beyond Attractions Pass includes admission to seven major area attractions, as well as the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets to other Dallas Fort Worth area attractions.

The two- or three-day passes can be purchased online (purchasing information can be found at http://www.irvingtexas.com/attractionspass) or at the concierge desks at NorthPark Center, Galleria Dallas or the Dallas Visitors Center located in the Old Red Courthouse in downtown Dallas.

In addition to the seven included Dallas Fort Worth area attractions and optional add-on attractions, the pass also includes several special offers and discounts at many of the region’s major shopping centers.

Offered by the Dallas/Fort Worth Area Tourism Council (DFWATC), the program is the result of the combined efforts of the region’s tourism bureaus and months of research, including a national survey of over 3,000 respondents to identify the main Dallas Fort Worth area attractions visitors would be most interested in seeing in a bundled pass program.

The seven participating Dallas Fort Worth area attractions included in the base pass are the Dallas Museum of Art, the Dallas Zoo, the Fort Worth Stockyards Experience, the International Bowling Museum & Hall of Fame, the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza and Southfork Ranch.

The pass can also be customized at time of purchase to include discounted tickets to the Grapevine Vintage Railroad, Louis Tussaud’s Palace of Wax & Ripley’s Believe it or Not! and the National Scouting Museum.

Additional special offers and discounts included with the base pass are provided at Galleria Dallas, Gondola Adventures at Las Colinas, Grapevine Mills Mall, Irving Mall, NorthPark Center in Dallas and Sundance Square in Fort Worth.

Prices for the two-day pass are $49 for adults, $39 for seniors and $24 for children. The three-day pass prices are $59 for adults, $49 for seniors and $29 for children. The pass is activated for its time period once it is scanned at the first attraction.
