The Imperial War Museum announces Big Stuff 2010, to be hosted at IWM Duxford near Cambridge, UK, 6-8 October, closing on Saturday 9 October with an optional field trip to HMS Belfast, moored in the Pool of London.

The theme of the conference will be the conflict and avoidance of conflict between the display and conservation requirements of Large Technology Objects within the museum setting.

Aimed at professionals working in the museum sector, the conference boasts an international panel of speakers from across Europe and as far afield as Australia, Canada and America discussing objects ranging from plesiosaur specimens to industrial sites.

All sessions will be held in the Marshall Auditorium in AirSpace, the conference centre at IWM Duxford.
