The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York has unveiled plans for a comprehensive redesign of the four-block-long outdoor plaza that runs in front of its landmark Fifth Avenue façade, from 80th to 84th Streets in Manhattan. Fundraiser to benefit the San Lorenzo Valley Museum

On the weekend of October 8-10 the Museum will host a three day show of models and miniatures featuring trains, automobiles, dollhouse miniatures, miniature books and artwork, dioramas, and much more.

There will be a drawing for the Grand Prize of a fully finished Princess Anne Dollhouse (Retail Cost $649), professionally decorated and ready to accept furniture, with a $100 gift certificate from Hobby Building Supplies (www.miniatures.com). The draw will be held at 4:00pm on Sunday, October 10th. You need not be present to win. The Grand Prize will be on display at various locations in the San Lorenzo Valley during the upcoming months. Please note that the Grand Prize is collector quality and is suitable for ages 14 and up.
