Museum of Fine Arts Boston (MFA) to Host College Night Celebration

September 4, 2010 – 3:26 pmNo Comment

The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA), kicks-off the school year with its annual College Night celebration on Thursday, September 23, from 7 – 11 p.m.

This marks the 6th year of this FREE event (created by the MFA in 2005), welcoming college students to the Museum and introducing them to its collection, diverse exhibitions, and engaging programs. In particular, the MFA welcomes its University Members—the students from 44 MFA member colleges in the New England area—who receive free admission every day.

Last year, more than 5,000 students attended College Night. This year, the immensely popular Berklee alum, Liz Longley, returns for a repeat performance in the Bravo coffeehouse. The event includes a dance party led by DJ Taylor Walker, art activities, and a surprise musical guest performing in the Calderwood Courtyard. The media sponsor is The Boston Phoenix.
