British Library Presents Ingenious Britons: Personal journeys in invention and design

To support London Design Festival week, the Brisith Library is hosting an event called ‘Ingenious Britons: Personal journeys in invention and design’. Open 18 – 26 September 2010.

This will be a unique opportunity to hear remarkable stories from British inventors. It will offer the opportunity to learn more about the process of invention, about finding a creative solution to a design problem or filling a gap in the market. The evening will also emphasise the importance of protecting and exploiting IP in new assets created.

Speakers include Natalie Ellis, Road Refresher non-spill dog travel bowl, Mike Spindle, the revolutionary Trekinetic Wheelchair and Jim Shaikh, Yoomi, self-heating baby bottle.
