Nerman Museum Presents Two Exhibitions

The Nerman Museum is presenting two exhibitions Ecstatic Structure
Bart Exposito Warren Isensee Stanley Whitney in the First Floor Galleries, open through December 19, 2010. And Museum Interrupted Rachel Hayes Anne Lindberg Miles Neidinger in the Second Floor Galleries, open through February 13, 2011.

The Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art is located on the campus of Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas (a major suburb of metropolitan Kansas City). JCCC is one of the region’s major providers for the visual and performing arts (Carlsen Center). The building was designed by Cambridge, Massachusetts- based Kyu Sung Woo Architects with Kansas City-based Gould Evans as the local architect.

The Oppenheimer Collection is the core of the museum’s permanent collection. It is showcased within three permanent collection galleries and throughout the campus.

Nerman Museum presents 16 exhibitions per year featuring works of international, national and regional artists.
