Brad Larson the museum director said;
“audience. Due to space constraints, thousands of items cannot be exhibited and our small galleries prevent the creation and rental of large-scale exhibits. Generations of families have entrusted their heritage and stories to us, yet many of those stories remain unheard. Our vision for an expanded museum will help unlock our true potential.

The Oshkosh Public Museum is one of the city’s many incredible assets, and we must ensure that this community retains a first-class history and natural science museum. The museum is at a turning point. We have a unique opportunity ahead of us to build a museum that will be a cornerstone of the city’s cultural community, an attraction that will enhance the appeal of Oshkosh as a destination point for tourists and serve as a valuable community resource.

The evolution of the museum must be a community-wide effort. Together, we can turn this vision into reality and build a museum for the 21st century.”
