National Museums Liverpool and Liverpool Hope University have joined forces to share expertise and develop links.
A formal partnership has been signed which will see both organisations working closer together on cultural programmes.
Hope has two postgraduate courses directly linked to the cultural sector: Art History & Curating and Museum & Heritage Studies. Museum curators and staff will work with lecturers to contribute and shape both courses.
The partnership will see:
Museum staff helping shape culture-focused post graduate courses.
High profile lecturer programme developed.Art exhibitions at Hope venues.
Students getting access to National Museum Liverpool’s formal education programme.
Hope will be involved in the annual Federation of International Human Rights Museums conference.
