North Somerset Museum Announces Temporary Closure

January 12, 2011 – 10:00 amNo Comment

North Somerset Museum is closing temporarily from 17-29 January to enable essential building maintenance to be carried out and a new boiler installed.

The work has been intentionally planned for what is traditionally the quietest time of the year for the museum in Burlington Street, Weston-super-Mare.

The work is part of preparations to get the building ready to hand over to Weston Town Council from April.

The entire museum, including the shop, café and Clara’s Cottage, will be closed during this period.

Staff will be working in the museum offices during the closure so telephone calls and email enquiries will be dealt with as normal.
