Panel Presentation with World War II Fighter Aces at Museum of Flight Feb. 12

Three fighter pilots share their stories about air combat over Europe

SEATTLE – The latest in a continuing series of American Fighter Ace panel discussions at The Museum of Flight is Feb. 12 at 2 p.m.


P-51 Flight

This panel of World War II veteran pilots includes U.S. Air Force Col. Barrie Davis, 325th Fighter Group with six aerial combat victories, U.S. Air Force Maj. Frank McCauley, 56th Fighter Group with 5 1/2 aerial combat victories, and Alex Herbst, a Polish pilot who flew with England’s Royal Air Force 303rd Squadron and scored two aerial combat victories. McCauley is a resident of Edmonds, Wash. 

The program is free with admission to the Museum.

The Museum of Flight is located at 9404 E. Marginal Way S., Seattle, Exit 158 off Interstate 5 on Boeing Field half-way between downtown Seattle and Sea-Tac Airport. The Museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $16 for adults, $14 for seniors 65 and older, $13 for active military, $9 for youth 5 to 17, and free for children under 5. Group rates are available. Admission on the first Thursday of the month is free from 5 to 9 p.m. courtesy of Wells Fargo.
