Alec Baldwin, the prolific star of film, television, and theater, will be honored by the Museum of the Moving Image on Monday, February 28, 2011 at Cipriani 42nd Street at its annual gala Salute.
A versatile comic and dramatic performer, Baldwin is currently starring in the NBC sitcom 30 Rock, and his films include The Hunt For Red October, Glengarry Glen Ross, The Cooler, Departed, and It’s Complicated.
Baldwin will be the Museum’s 26th Honoree, joining the ranks of past honorees including Clint Eastwood, Robert DeNiro, Dustin Hoffman, Tom Hanks, Sidney Poitier, Julia Roberts, Martin Scorsese, Will Smith, Steven Spielberg, Jimmy Stewart, and others.
