Gateway Science Museum Celebrates First Anniversary

The Gateway Science Museum celebrated its one-year anniversary Sunday, Feb. 27.

More than 25,000 visitors have explored the Gateway Science Museum’s exhibits, including more than 4,000 children who came with their classes on field trips. Gateway Science Museum is open Wednesday – Friday, noon to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and is located at 625 Esplanade. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children and free for museum members.

The mission of the Gateway Science Museum is to create a life-long learning environment that enables people to explore, interpret, and celebrate the magnificent natural heritage of our region through science, research, and education
