Kemp Auto Museum to Host 4th Annual Concours d’Elegance Classic Invitational Auto Show
Kemp Auto Museum is proud to be hosting their 4TH Annual Concours d’Elegance Classic Invitational Auto Show, featuring rare, new and classic automobiles, on Sunday, May 22, 2011.
Kemp Auto Museum is proud to be hosting their 4TH Annual Concours d’Elegance Classic Invitational Auto Show, featuring rare, new and classic automobiles, on Sunday, May 22, 2011.
This event will be held on the outdoor Sachs Plaza of the Kemp Auto Museum beginning at 10:00 am until 3:00 pm, and will include automobiles from the top privates collections in the St. Louis area.
The Concours d’Elegance Classic Invitational Auto Show event is the only invitational display of world-class automobiles in the St. Louis area. Many of these featured cars have won multiple awards at the prestigious Concours d’Elegance events held at Pebble Beach, California; Amelia Island, Florida; Meadow Brook Hall, Michigan; and other noteworthy shows.
Executive Director Rodger Van Ness comments, “It has been our dream and our mission to host premiere Concours shows like this at the Kemp Auto Museum, and we’re thrilled by the number and quality of the St. Louis and Midwest area collectors who will be participating.”
Kemp Auto Museum’s Van Ness adds, “We are excited to host yet another outstanding example of new and classic automobiles, and welcome the local collectors, as well as automotive enthusiasts. Our event committee has been working tirelessly to make this show one of the finest in the Midwest.”
And while they are attending the show on the Kemp Auto Museum’s outdoor plaza, the public may visit the only automobile museum in the U.S.A. featuring Mercedes-Benz and many award winning cars on loan in the museum from collectors.
The outdoor portion of the Concours d’Elegance Classic Invitational Auto Show is free to the public.
Food and beverages will also be available for purchase at the event.
Commemorative posters will be available for sale during the Concours d’Elegance event, with a portion of the proceeds to benefit Ranken Jordan, a pediatric specialty hospital.
