National Palace Museum Wins Two Remi Awards

The National Palace Museum in Taiwan has won Two Remi Awards at the 44th Annual WorldFest Houston International Film Festival

The 44th WorldFest-Houston Independent International Film Festival held the 2011 Remi Award Gala on April 16th, 2011. The “Inside: The Emperor’s Treasure” and the “Dynastic Renaissance: Art and Culture of the Southern Song” received the Silver Award in Arts and Culture and the Bronze Award in Education respectively.

The collection of the National Palace Museum mainly deals with art and artifacts of Chinese art. Many of the works in the collection are masterpieces, leading the Museum to become known as a treasure trove of Chinese culture.

WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival is an annual film festival, dedicated to various types of independent films, held in Houston, Texas.
