San Telmo Museum in San Sebastian Reopens

The San Telmo Museum in San Sebastián officially reopened to the public on April 2.


San Telmo Museum

A 4 year restoration by Nieto Sobejano Architects, has provided the museum, the oldest of the Basque Country, with a new and renovated public space. In the halls of the former Dominican monastery,they has developed an ambitious exhibition that opend on April 2, with 6 billion others, an audiovisual exhibition by Yann Arthus-Bertrand in partnership with artists Sibille d’Orgeval and Baptiste Rouget-Luchaire.

With an extra block added to the historic building the refurbished musuem, measuring 11,000 squared metres, is the largest of its kind dedicated to Basque culture.
