The Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh presents Found in the Fields: Lithographs and Linocuts by Carry Akroyd with poems by John Clare. Open now through 4 September, 2011.

Akroyd’s landscape images examine the relationship between wildlife and modern agriculture. This exhibition shows a new series in her continuing response to the work of the nineteenth century poet John Clare, who, like the artist, observed enormous transformations of the countryside in his lifetime.

Akroyd’s prints are for sale along with two of her books relating to Clare’s poetry.
