The Foundry Art Centre Presents Family Culture Days Kickoff Event

The Foundry Art Centre is hosting a special Family Culture Days Kickoff event on Sunday, August 28, 2011 from 1:00 until 7:00 pm. PNC Arts Alive is presenting sponsor.

The Family Culture Days Kickoff event is FREE and open to the public, and will feature cultural displays; dance and musical performances; Hispanic artists and art activities for children; and ethnic food and refreshments.

Join St. Charles Mayor Sally Faith and Mexican Consul-Kansas City Jacob Prado for the Opening Welcome; stay and hear Featured Hispanic Artist Gloria Parsley present her show, Nostalgia, an Open Door to Mexico, and then kick back and close out the day with a LIVE performance by Featured Musician Javier Mendoza.
