Kunsthaus Zurich Opens Young Art Exhibition

The Kunsthaus Zurich presents Young Art an exhibition on view 16 September – 27 November 2011.

This exhibition presents a selection of works acquired by the Gruppe Junge Kunst, which is part of our patron association, the ‘Vereinigung Zürcher Kunstfreunde.’ It covers the period from the beginnings to the present and is designed as a story in a number of chapters.

The latest purchases will be displayed in three alternating presentations in the cabinet:
16.9.–9.10.11: Latifa Echakhch, Haris Epaminonda, Keren Cytter
11.10.–30.10.11: Pauline Boudry/Renate Lorenz
1.11.–27.11.11: Mark Manders, Lucy Skaer
complemented, on the ground floor, by works acquired since 1970, among others from John Armleder, Günther Förg, Martin Kippenberger, Fischli/Weiss, Andro Wekua, Stefan Burger, Tobias Madison and Cat Tuong Nguyen.

The exhibition will be accompanied by performances and a range of other events.
