The Foundry Art Centre in St. Charles, Missouri presents it’s Concert Schedule for 2012.

St. Charles Symphony
Saturday, March 3, 2012 – Show begins at 7:00 pm; Doors open 6:00 pm

Tickets: Admission is FREE to the public

Founded in 1997, the St. Charles County Symphony Society is a multi-faceted ensemble, performing classical and modern repertoire, chamber concerts and a summer “POPS” series.

The St. Charles Symphony Society enjoys serving the St. Charles area through its free musical concerts. The Orchestra performs in a variety of community locations including area universities and schools, churches, plazas, and parks. The Orchestra also performs in a variety of musical styles: from traditional symphonies to seasonal pops concerts.

Javier Mendoza

Singer-songwriter, guitarist, storyteller: Singing in both English and Spanish, Javier Mendoza performs in a pop-rock style with a powerful voice and lyrics. Always turning heads, always full of energy, always the entertainer, Mendoza’s charismatic personality is reflected in his zesty, Latin-tinged performances.

Ronstadt Generations
Friday, April 13, 2012 – Show begins at 7:30 pm; Doors open at 6:00 pm

Ronstadt Generations represents the multi-cultural roots America was founded upon.
Dating back five generations in North America, Michael J. Ronstadt, younger brother of Linda Ronstadt, continues the family tradition with his two sons, Michael G. and Petie.

These three voices — all multi-instrumentalists and solo artists in their own right — bring to life a repertoire that reaches back to the end of the 19th century while continually looking ahead into the 21st, with a rich innovation of original material alongside traditional Southwestern and Mexican songs.

Each comes with the highest credentials, having appeared around the world in performance and on recordings with such diverse artists as Linda Ronstadt, Los Lobos, the Dixie Hummingbirds, Muriel Anderson, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and countless others.

Charles Glenn Group in Concert
Friday, May 18, 2012 – Show begins at 7:30 pm; Doors open at 6:30 pm

Charles Glenn is an entertainer who draws upon his vast wealth of knowledge and training to create unforgettable musical experiences for his audiences. His unique style and high-spirited performances have been a highlight of many conferences and retreats for major corporations and organizations.

Charles has the distinct honor of singing the National Anthem for the St. Louis Rams, St. Louis Cardinals, and St. Louis Blues. He is an active volunteer and contributor to local schools’ music and performing arts programs.

The son of an accomplished opera singer, Charles received early training in voice and percussion. Charles has utilized both his strong vocal and percussion talents as the opening act for such national groups as Smokey Robinson, Huey Lewis and the News, and the Allman Brothers. Charles has also performed with Andre Crouch and Stellar Award winner Calvin Bridges, and was selected to perform a series of limited engagements with Grammy Award-winning group “The Fifth Dimension.”

Join the Foundry Art Centre and celebrate the Fourth of July with a special patriotic music performance by the Saint Louis Wind Symphony.

This special Fourth of July weekend performance will feature a mixture of marches, light classics, show tunes and patriotic melodies in this Fourth of July spectacular in the Foundry Art Centre’s Grand Hall.

Since his performance at the Foundry Art Centre in 2010 and 2011, Arthur Migliazza has been taking the east coast by storm! Migliazza is returning to the Foundry Art Centre stage for his exciting Boogie Woogie piano performance.

HUDSON AND THE HOO DOO CATS in Concert
Friday, October 5, 2012 – Show begins at 7:30 pm; Doors open at 6:30 pm

HUDSON AND THE HOO DOO CATS, a JumpSwinginRockinBoogieBluesaBilly, or for short, a JitterbugaBilly band, was founded in Austin,Texas in 1989 and relocated to St. Louis, Missouri in 1995.The band has played over 4,000 performances. HUDSON AND THE HOO DOO CATS focus on swingin’ shufflin’ blues, 50’s rock and roll and rockabilly, and medium tempo dance music (West Coast, Lindy Hop, and Imperial and more), as well as many original songs penned by founder and songwriter, Hudson Harkins. The band has long been a favorite of St. Louis area swing dance clubs and music fans.

Erin Bode and David Halen

Experience an exceptional evening of Erin’s original composition, standards and Christmas favorites with string arrangements composed exclusively for this concert by the St. Louis Symphony Concertmaster, David Halen. A great way to enjoy an evening of special music, discover or revisit the attractions of the Foundry Art Centre and get into the Holiday Spirit!

Erin has been one of the brightest stars on the local music scene for half a decade and has thrilled audiences from Japan to Italy. David Halen is concertmaster of the Saint Louis Symphony and previously serves as assistant concertmaster with Houston Symphony Orchestra.
