On Sunday, June 17 from 2 to 3:30pm, visitors to the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum (CBMM) in St. Michaels, MD will enjoy the sounds of live jazz along the Miles River with the 229th Maryland Army National Guard Jazz Band performing from the historic Tolchester Beach Bandstand.

The concert begins just as the three-day, 25th Annual Antique & Classic Boat Festival comes to a close. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to sit alongside the bandstand during the concert, or stroll along the museum’s many indoor and outdoor exhibits, which remain open until 6pm that day.

Based in Parkville, MD, the 229th Maryland Army National Guard Band serves the Adjutant General, the Maryland Army National Guard and the citizens of Maryland by performing live music throughout the year.

The concert is free for museum members and children under six or with general admission, which is $13 for adults, $10 for seniors, $6 for children 6-17. Active military and their families receive free admission to CBMM Memorial Day through Labor Day.
