Garvies Point Museum announces Forensic Geology Exhibit

On June 23rd, Garvies Point Museum will be unveiling our new exhibit featuring “Forensic Geology.” At 1 pm, join Dr. George J. Allgaier’s discussion on how, when, and where unusual rock formations form. Using James Hutton’s 1785 Doctrine of Uniformitarianism, “the present is the key to the past,” logic, and 50 plus years of experience Dr. Allgaier will unveil the mysteries of forensic geology. Our new exhibit will include recent donations as well as rock and mineral formations from our collections and preserve.
