The British Museum is to open a World Conservation and Exhibition Centre in 2014. The new Centre will provide world class facilities for visitors and researchers taking conservation, scientific research and collection management to a new level of excellence. A grant of £10m from the Heritage Lottery Fund will provide resources to enable the Museum to expand its innovative outreach and public engagement. – www.britishmuseum.org
