From March 3rd to June 23rd, come see a new exhibition, “Max Weber: Bringing Paris to New York” at the Baltimore Museum of Art.
The exhibition features nearly 40 paintings, prints, and drawings that explore the formative years of Max Weber, one of the most important American artists of the 20th century. From fall 1905 to December 1908, Weber transformed his painting style from classical representations of figures to bold interpretations of Fauvism and Cubism.
The exhibition includes rarely seen works that Weber brought back from Paris loaned by the artist’s estate and other public and private collections, as well as a selection of never-before exhibited sketches
