Studio art classes are forming now for the Erie Art Museum’s Spring Semester of studio art classes and workshops. Class registrations made before March 25 are eligible for a $10 off Early Bird Discount for each class. The Museum offers a broad range of classes for kids and adults of all skill levels, and all taught by professional artists.

Lifeworks Erie and the Erie Art Museum present a new class for those who want to better understand modern art and how to understand a painting or sculpture. The Erie Art Museum education staff will lead the class In the Eyes of the Beholder: Experiencing Art, which will meet Tuesdays for 4 weeks, starting April 9, 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. Students will learn how to notice details, make opinions, and be able to discuss artworks while exploring exhibits. The first two sessions will meet at Lifeworks at 4th and Peach Street. Register by calling Marie Heberlein, Lifeworks program coordinator at (814) 453-5072.

The Museum offers discounts to Museum Members on all classes and workshops. A complete description of available classes is online at www.erieartmuseum.org. Register online or by calling (814) 459-5477.
