Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit extended until midnight Saturday, April 6 to accommodate crowds

CINCINNATI – Closing April 14, Cincinnati Museum Center’s blockbuster exhibition, Dead Sea Scrolls: Life and Faith in Ancient Times is selling out some time slots!

To accommodate guests who don’t want to miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, the exhibition will remain open until midnight on Saturday, April 6. Currently, time slots are sold out from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturday. The last entry on Saturday is at 10 p.m.

Tickets are still available throughout the day on Sunday, April 7, which also has extended hours for those wishing to see the recently added Ten Commandments Scroll. Dead Sea Scrolls is open Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., the last entry into the exhibit is 7 p.m.

Here are some quick tips for your best Dead Sea Scrolls experience:

– Reserve your tickets in advance by calling (513) 287-7001 or online at www.cincymuseum.org.

– Take advantage of extended hours: the exhibition opens daily at 9 a.m. and stays open late. Additional hours will continue to be added as needed.

– Give yourself plenty of time! Visitors are often spending 1.5 to 2 hours in the exhibit.

– Use your Museum Center membership for the best ticket price.

Non-member tickets are $23 for adults and $15 for children. Seniors ages 60+ are $20. Tickets are $15 for Museum Center member adults and $10 for member children ages 3 – 12. Visit www.cincymuseum.org for more information or to make reservations.
