Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History Astronomy Class

The Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History is hosting an astronomy class on Saturday, August 3, 7pm – 11pm.

Join community educator and NASA scientist “Cosmic” Joe Jordan for a lecture, discussion and sky viewing. We’ll cover the wonders of the night sky, the basics of observational astronomy, “cosmic ecology” and information on resources and equipment used to view planets, galaxies, nebulae and constellations. Class will begin at the Museum and move to the nearby mountains for sky viewing.
