Discover an extraordinary world above and below the sea

CINCINNATI – Hold your breath as you dive beneath the waves in our new OMNIMAX® film Journey to the South Pacific opening January 17. Dive with sea turtles, swim next to a gentle whale shark and tread water with manta rays while overlooking a pristine rainbow coral reef in this exotic adventure.

film Journey to the South PacificThe South Pacific, home to over 2,000 ocean species, is one of the most diverse marine ecosystems in the world. The people living on the islands that dot the South Pacific have built a way of life that works in harmony with the ocean and its inhabitants.

Follow Jawi, a young boy from West Papua, as he participates in traditional island celebrations and swims alongside a 30 foot whale shark, the world’s largest shark. Then climb aboard the Kalabia for a closer look at the many diverse marine animals that call this place home.

Academy Award-winner Cate Blanchett narrates Jawi’s journey as our five-story domed screen puts you right into the action. Hold onto your seat as you glide across the waves and duck as a 20-foot manta ray swims overhead and learn about the science and importance of living in balance with the ocean planet we call home.

Don’t worry about falling in love with Jawi and the beauty of the South Pacific. With our new OMNIMAX® Club Card you can relive the adventure over and over. For just $25 per adult and $20 per child you can join us for 12 months of unlimited access to breathtaking experiences that surround you and take you around the world and beyond in our OMNIMAX® Theater.
