National Building Museum announces mobile phone app

The National Building Museum has announced its first ever smartphone mobile application, National Building Museum Mobile (“NBMobile”). The free app will be available in the Apple App store and through Google Play for Android devices.

National Building Museum appIn addition to on-the-go access to exhibition and program tickets, app users will have the ability to create their own schedules, choosing from upcoming lectures, films, panel discussions, and family events. Users will also find new ways to explore the National Building Museum’s historic home through an in-app audio tour and trivia game.

The app also seamlessly integrates with the online Museum Shop and social media networks. Users can take and share notes and photos from within the application, as well as post to their personal networks.
