International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum receives the Midwest Travel Writers Association’s GEMmy Award

The International Photography Hall of Fame (IPHF) in St. Louis, Missouri, has received a 2014 GEMmy Award from the Midwest Travel Writers Association (MTWA). The award was presented on Wednesday, December 3, 2014, during a brief ceremony at the museum.

MTWA’s GEMmy Award is presented to travel destinations deemed by members to be true “gems” because they provide travelers with an exceptional experience (see the attached news release and photo for additional details regarding the award.)

Found in 1951, MTWA is the oldest association of professional travel writers in the U.S. The association includes writers, editors and public relations professionals who reside in one of the 13 Midwestern states and specialize in the travel industry.
