The Michener Art Museum presents several programs in conjunction with the exhibition, The Artist in the Garden:

Guest Lecture:
The Artist’s Garden: American Impressionism and the Garden Movement (1887-1920)

Learn about the artwork in the exhibition, The Artist’s Garden: American Impressionism and the Garden Movement (1887-1920), currently on view at The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, in this illustrated lecture presented by Anna O. Marley, Ph.D., Curator of Historical American Art, Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Tuesday, March 31, 1 – 2 pm.

Offered on the first and third Sundays of the month, this innovative program was developed to cultivate the art of looking closely and feeling deeply through meditation and focused reflection upon a few pieces of art at a time. Visit the galleries twice per month to bring the focus back onto yourself and connect with others through the art. A great way to relax and recharge!
