Solar System Ambassador Shows Spacecraft Surprises at the Museum of Flight

July 23 lecture looks at the first year of Pluto close-ups

SEATTLE – NASA JPL Solar System Ambassador and Museum of Flight Educator Tony Gondola presents a retrospective look at NASA’s New Horizons mission to Pluto, one year after the historic fly-by. Gondola will talk about new Plutopian perspectives and the planetoid’s dynamic system of moons. The program also looks at what’s on the horizon as the spacecraft heads out into the Kuiper Belt and the extreme reaches of the solar system. The program is at 1 p.m. and free with admission to the Museum.
