. September 17, 2016

SEATTLE – The Museum of Flight is offering free first flights in small planes to girls and young women on Sept. 24-25, 11 a.m to 5 p.m. The First Time Fliers program provides 15-minute rides in light planes to girls and women ages 8-17 to promote interest in aviation, space and STEM professions (not to mention promoting fun). Rides are limited to those who have never flown, or who have only flown in airliners. Limited spots are available, and all flights are weather dependent.
