Kids winter breaks with Harry Potter, Star Wars, dinosaurs and more at Cincinnati Museum Center

CINCINNATI – When school is out, Cincinnati Museum Center (CMC) camps are in! Fall and Winter Museum Camps are on sale now.

cincinnati-museum-kids-breaksAs the winter creeps closer and closer, kids are chomping at the bit for Thanksgiving and holiday breaks and the days off that come with them. But for you the days of winter breaks ended when you graduated from school, and your boss isn’t always too keen on you playing hooky during the holiday season. Well, that’s where Museum Camps come in. Whether there’s a day or a week off from school, there’s a camp for that.

Kids can explore science, technology, history and the arts through creative activities, games and hands-on experiments at Museum Camp. From Harry Potter, dinosaurs and weather to Star Wars, LEGO and space, there’s plenty to keep your kids busy and learning all winter. Camps are available for grades K-8 and before and after care are available.

Take part in building challenges and let your imagination run wild in LEGO: Master Builder camp. Or grab your broomstick, practice your potion skills and meet some fantastic beasts at Harry Potter camp. Perhaps you’d like to discover what happens behind the scenes of a movie and even make your own stop-motion video in LEGO: Movie Magic camp. You can even make your own lightsaber and learn how to use it in Jr. Jedi and Star Wars camps.

Even better, do it all! Camps are available by day or by week so you can build the perfect experience for your child’s interests.

To start planning your winter breaks, visit cincymuseum.org/programs/museum-camp or call (513) 287-7001 to register.
