MOSAICS Fine Art Festival Announces the “Joyce Rosen Youth Art Education Memorial” Campaign

. April 27, 2018

MOSAICS Fine Art Festival Board announces their 2018 fundraising campaign, which will honor the recently deceased Founder and Board Member Joyce Rosen.

The 2018 fundraising effort, known as the “Joyce Rosen Youth Art Education Memorial” Campaign, is scheduled to kick off on Wednesday, May 2nd in conjunction with the St. Louis Community Foundation’s Give STL Day community-wide online day of giving to benefit nonprofits serving the St. Louis region.

During her career as a leader within the St. Louis Metro area Arts community, Joyce Rosen championed arts education and programming for young residents. As the founder and a leader of many arts organizations, festivals and events, Joyce established art education and programming opportunities, engaging families in culture and teaching children to appreciate art.

These organizations and arts events/festivals include:
– The Foundry Art Centre
– St. Louis Artists Guild
– Lake St. Louis Cultural Arts Commission
– An Art Affair
– Midwest Salute to the Masters
– Best of Missouri Hands
– MOSAICS Fine Art Festival

To mark her recent passing, the MOSAICS Fine Art Festival is asking the artists, organizations, friends, associates, and arts patrons whose lives Joyce touched through the arts to make a donation in her memory.

These donations will directly underwrite the youth arts educational areas at the 2018 MOSAICS Fine Art Festival – the Children’s Village tent and Art for Youth Gallery.

Besides this initial fundraising campaign, the MOSAICS Board of Directors will be developing a lasting tribute to her life and memory that continues Joyce’s message and vision for the Arts within the St. Charles community.
