Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art Curator William Moreno talks about Latino Art

William A. Moreno. a California museum veteran and independent museum curator, will share his experiences as a curator and collector from all across the golden state during a lecture at the Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art at Cal State San Bernardino, on Thursday, Nov. 8, from 5-6:15 p.m.

Moreno will be speaking about his career as an independent curator who has worked at various museums throughout California. His jobs have included executive director of The Mexican Museum in San Francisco, panelist for 2010 Latino Art Now Conference, and currently chair of the Board of Directors of Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions.

As founding executive director of the Claremont Museum of Art, he organized exhibits such as the critically acclaimed “Karl Benjamin: Conversations in Color” and “Vexing: Female Voices from East L.A. Punk,” which examined Chicana voices through art.
