Norman Rockwell Museum announces an ongoing series of children’s art workshops to be held at the Museum during the months of July and August.
Summer Sketch Club
Tuesdays, July and August, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Enjoy on-location drawing and painting classes which encourage self-expression and experimentation. Participants should bring a sketchbook or drawing pad; other art supplies will be provided. Summer Sketch Club is held outdoors- weather permitting; bring bottled water, insect repellent, hats, and sunscreen. For ages seven and up. Take one class or take them all.
Admission to the Sketch Club costs $6, $4 for Museum members.
Creating Together: A Parent-Child Experience
Wednesdays, July and August, 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Children and their parents are invited to explore Norman Rockwell Museum’s galleries together during this series of interactive art experiences. Get inspired by the works on view to create your own personal artwork with a variety of materials and techniques. For parents and children ages four and up. Take one class or take them all. Admission to Creating Together costs $6, $4 for Museum members.
