LeMay – AMERICA’S CAR MUSEUM® has partnered with the LeMay Family to host the 33rd Annual LeMay Car Show & Auction at Marymount Academy and the LeMay home grounds in Tacoma, Washington on Saturday, August 28, 2010 from 9:00am-5:00pm.
Visitors will see over 1,000 different vintage, specialty automobiles, trucks and motorcycles from the LeMay Collection, plus hundreds of local collector cars and other unique vehicles. In addition to the cars, there will be numerous automobile-related vendor displays, the Collector Car Showcase – a judged car show, food vendors and a collector car auction hosted by Mathers Inc. Auctioneers.
The LeMay Car Show has been a family tradition for over 30 years. Our show is an amazing assortment of 1,000 vintage collector cars with additional collections of dolls, antiques, and nostalgic memorabilia housed within our themed rooms.
Over 300 vehicles from the LeMay collection are garaged at the existing Museum located on the historic grounds of what was the Marymount Military Academy, operated for over 50 years by the Sisters of St. Dominic, and the Museum is open to the public year-round for tours. Once a year on the last Saturday in August, the LeMay family graciously opens their home grounds to the public and offers the opportunity to view over 300 collector cars within their private garages. Added attractions are also viewable at both locations of this event.
