Pitches for The Bowes Museum’s annual Christmas Market are up for grabs as the Barnard Castle treasure house looks to grow the popular event, both in size and reputation.
Verity Naseby, the Museum’s Wedding and Events Officer, has already fielded a good number of enquiries from potential stallholders, and she is keen to increase the number and the wide variety of quality crafters and producers who already attend the event, which has become a favourite in the Teesdale calendar.
Building on the success of previous years, she would like to hear from traders offering traditional and festive food and drink, jewellery, sweets, festive wreaths and gifts who would like a stall at the market, which this year takes place on Sunday 19 December from 10.00 – 4.00.
The event will feature traditional entertainment, and Verity would also like to hear from choirs and other seasonal performers who would like to take part in this event, which attracts a huge number of visitors, with its offer of free parking and free admission to the grounds, Café Bowes and the Shop, which has a wide range of cards and gifts on sale.
Interested parties can contact Verity on 01833 694614, or email her at [email protected] to book your space or to discuss your requirements.
