Indian President Pratibha Patil and Deputy Prime Minister Kong Sam Ol have taken part in a ground breaking ceremony for The Asian Traditional Textiles Museum in Siem Reap.
Construction of the museum, funded by a US$1.5 million grant from the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, started in June 2010 and is expected to be completed by December 2011.
The museum will house collections of traditional fabrics and cloths.
