Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center Flag Folding on Veterans Day

In honor of Veterans Day, the Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center will host a flag-folding ceremony on Thursday, November 11, from 10:15 to 10:45am. Fredi Simpson and members of Boy Scout Troop 7 will demonstrate the correct way to present, handle, and display the United States flag. Simpson also will share the background of the bugle call, “Taps.”

The Museum will observe its regular hours on Thursday, from 10:00am4:00pm. There will be no admission charge for the ceremony, which will be over in time for audience members to walk up to Memorial Park for Wenatchee’s Veterans Day parade. Regular Museum admission for the rest of the day is $5.00 for adults, $4.00 for senior citizens and students, $2.00 for children 6-12, and free for kids under six and Museum members.
