The Frazier International History Museum announces “Holidays Around the World” November, 26th 2010 9:00 am – January, 2nd 2011 5:00 pm.
Beginning November 26 in conjunction with Light Up Louisville, the Frazier Museum will be host to “Holidays Around the World,” a celebration of holiday traditions found throughout Louisville’s diverse communities. It ranges from trees decorated as they would be in countries that observe the Christmas holiday, to cultural trees and displays showcasing holidays observed throughout the year in other countries. Each tree or display is accompanied by information describing the decorations and, at specific times, volunteers from each country or culture are present to talk with visitors. Free with museum admission.
