Corinium Museum Presents Meadow Larks with the Great Western Embroiderers

The Corinium Museum presents Meadow Larks with the Great Western Embroiderers. Saturday 13th November – Saturday 4th December.

Great Western Embroiderers was set up in the autumn of 2007 by Maggie Harris and Kath Danswan and is part of the Great West Country Embroiderers, which has groups throughout the West Country.

The G.W.E. brings together people who mostly work individually, and provides the chance to meet others with similar interests. They are a diverse group of people who share a love of stitching and textiles.
The work displayed in this exhibition has been inspired by the Great Western Embroiderers group, visiting and studying the North Meadow in Cricklade, Wiltshire.
