The Museum of Discovery was awarded a grant of $9.2 million by the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation! The grant will enable the Museum to construct a street-level entrance on President Clinton Avenue and to redesign the exhibit areas, including three new galleries. The Museum will be open the entire year of 2010 and part of 2011.
The Mission of the Museum of Discovery is to ignite a passion for science, technology and math in a dynamic, interactive environment.
The Museum of Discovery is AAM Accredited, a Smithsonian Affiliate, the hub for the Arkansas Discovery Network—an initiative of the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation. In addition, the Museum of Discovery is a proud member of American Association of Museums, the Association of Science and Technology Centers and Association of Children’s Museums.
