The Phoenix Art Museum will present a lecture Echoes of Eden: The Garden as Window to the Soul on January 15 at 2pm.
A garden can reveal the character of the person who plants and tends it. With ASU School of Music’s David Schildkret, D.Mus., explore how gardens from the Renaissance paintings of Andrea Mantegna and Piero della Francesca, great portraits of the 19th century, the landscapes of “Capability” Brown and Jane Austen’s novels convey important truths about the nature of the people who inhabit them.
Included with general admission or free for Museum Members.
