Seneca County Museum Seeks Assistant Director

The Seneca County Museum Foundation is seeking an assistant director to extend the hours of operation for the Seneca County Museum.

The Seneca County Museum first opened its doors in 1943. In 1942, Mr. Lynn Troxel, Sr. donated the home of his parents to Seneca County to be used as a museum. The Greek Revival home was built by Tiffin’s first millionaire, Rezin Shawhan in 1853. The house originally had six rooms and a carriage house. Currently there are 18 rooms and most exhibits pertain to Seneca County.
