Bronte Parsonage Museum Reopens 1 February

The Bronte Parsonage Museum will reopen on 1 February with new displays and a full programme of events for the year, including:

Monday 1 February 2010 until Friday 20 May 2011
Sex, Drugs and Literature – The Infernal World of Branwell Bronte: Special exhibition focusing on Branwell Bronte – Bronte Parsonage Museum – Free on admission to the museum

Friday 18 February
Jane Eyre 1944: See the 1944 film version of Jane Eyre on the big screen in Haworth. The museum recently acquired the original 20th century Fox screenplay for the film, written by Aldous Huxley, directed by Robert Stephenson and starring Orson Welles and Joan Fontaine. Charmian Knight will give a short introduction and there will be an interval with refreshments. The screenplay is on display at the museum throughout 2011 – Tickets £6 adults (£3 under 16) – 7.30pm – West Lane Baptist Centre – Bookings: [email protected] / 01535 640188.
