Baltimore Museum of Art Presents Jazz in the Sculpture Garden This Summer

Enjoy the beauty of the BMA’s Sculpture Gardens with a glass of wine, good friends, and cool jazz on a hot summer night.

Select Saturdays in July and August, Twilight tours, 5 p.m. (includes evening tour, early entry, and a glass of wine) Doors open, 6:30 p.m. Concerts, 7 p.m.

July 2 | Don Braden Group featuring Vanessa Rubin
Hailed by The New York Times as “brilliant and assured,” saxophonist Don Braden partners with premiere vocalist Vanessa Rubin for a spectacular night under the stars.

Dave Stryker
July 23 | The Dave Stryker Organ Quintet
Dave Stryker, deemed “one of this generation’s most distinctive guitarists” by the Village Voice, leads this quintet in a perfect blend of electric notes and unabashed blues.

Hendrik Meurkens
July 30 | The Hendrik Meurkens Samba Jazz Quintet
Brazilian jazz at its best! From the Bossa Nova to the burning Samba, this sizzling jazz quintet will have you on your feet.

Tim Green
August 13 | The Tim Green Quintet
Baltimore native and well known saxophonist Tim Green studied, performed, and toured with jazz greats Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, and Terrance Blanchard. He masterfully fuses gospel and jazz.

Allan Harris
August 20 | The T.K. Blue Quintet featuring Allan Harris
Local favorite T.K. Blue returns with his quintet to accompany world-class baritone, guitarist, and songwriter Allan Harris.
