PreSchooler Time: Blimps Overhead
Thursday, September 8, 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.
Discover the purpose of blimps, what blimps are made of and how they float in the air. Read a book and participate in a hands-on activity.

Grandparent Files: Forgotten Toys
Thursday, September 8, 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
Bring your grandchild to learn how toys of the past were made from wood, cloth and string. Grandparents are encouraged to bring any toys they may have from their past for a “show and tell” time. Participants will make their own version of a forgotten toy.

Registration and small supply fee are required by September 1st.
Supply fee for each child: $5.00 general public; $3.00 FOMOA members;
$2.00 FOMOA Grandparent members

History Tales: “Make It, Take It” Blimps Overhead
Friday, September 9, 3:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m.
Discover the role blimps played in World War II off the coast of North Carolina, what blimps are made of, how they float in the air, and participate in a hands-on activity. K-4 grade

Junior Museum Explorers: Mules, Not Just for Farming
Friday September 9, 3:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m.
Come to the museum to find out how mules helped both Union and Confederate soldiers during the Civil War and enjoy a hands-on activity.
5-7 grade
